| My husband and I will be travelling by car to Vail between Christmas Day and the New Year. We have booked a front wheel drive rental car at Denver International Airport but a friend has told us that we should rent an SUV as the snow can be a problem at this time of year.
How bad are the roads there in Winter and is a four wheel drive vehicle necessary? Thank you Laura
